Venue - The Cotswold Sailing Club

Lake 9, Spinnaker Lake

Cotswold Water Park

Using Google Map type in 51.666200, -1.900500 and that will give you the location to the entrance of the lake.

 

The Lake is in the Cotswold Water Park NW of Swindon about 15 miles from M4 J15.

 

Take A419 Swindon to Cirencester road. Follow the brown tourist signs to the Water Park.

 

Take the B4696 signposted to Cerney Wick. After entering the Cotswold Water Park pass the Cotswold Water Park Gateway Centre, at the first crossroads (about 3/4 mile) turn left towards Cerney Wick. Entrance to the Club is on the right hand side approximately ½ mile from the crossroads.

We are very privileged that the sailing club allow us to use their venue, so please be aware that we are there as guest and as such WWL expects all members and visitors to follow the following rules:

1. Entry procedure to site:

• You must arrive at the site between 9:00 - 9:30 am to gain entry, after this time the gates will be locked and you will need to contact one of the Heads of Group to gain access. Note we are positioned the other side of the lake, so please expect a long wait and be patient with us. To avoid frustration please get there on time.
• If you are running late and or know you are going to be late, let one of the Heads know and they will arrange for someone to meet you at the gate at a later time.

1. There is a 5 mile an hour speed limit on site, please adhere to this anyone deemed breaking this may loose their privilege of bringing their vehicle on site.
2. Dogs must be kept on lead or in your vehicle when not being worked, only dogs being worked are allowed off lead.
3. Everyone must clear up after their dogs.
4. We are close to the village and also sailing club members camp at the lake and as such need to respect privacy and try and keep noise levels down.
